Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 24 June, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 194 points or 0.25% at 77,016, while the Nifty-50 was down around 77 points or 0.33% at 23,424. About 1,507 shares have advanced; 1,757 declined and 142 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.55% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.07%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. In contrast, Kalyani Investment Company Ltd and Welspun Specialty Solutions Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE FMCG Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE FMCG Index gained by 0.55%, up by Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Ltd and Emami Ltd while the BSE Metals Index plunged by 1.50%, down by National Aluminum Ltd and Steel Authority of India Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, RailTel Corporation Ltd and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd.
