Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 24 May, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in red with the Sensex down around 125 points or 0.16% at 75,305, while the Nifty-50 was down around 36 points or 0.16% at 22,932. About 1,665 shares have advanced; 1,424 declined and 125 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, State Bank of India and Bajaj Finance Ltd while the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.05% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.27%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Condition India Ltd and Bharat Dynamics Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectoral indices and the BSE Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index gained by 1.1%, up by Indus Tower Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd while the BSE Services Index is down by 0.90% dragged by RPSG Ventures Ltd and Radiant Cash Management Services Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Bharat Dynamics Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Adani Enterprises Ltd.
