Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 25 July, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 425 points or 0.53% at 79,234, while the Nifty-50 was down around 120 points or 0.50% at 24,293. About 1,216 shares have advanced; 1,702 declined and 86 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Motors Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and HCl Technologies Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Titan Company Ltd, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.42% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.86%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India Ltd and IDBI Bank. In contrast, MSTC Ltd and PG Electroplast Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Financial Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index gained by 0.45%, up by Suzlon Energy Ltd and CG Power Ltd while the BSE Financial Services Index plunged by 1.10%, down by DCB Bank and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: MMTC Ltd, Rathi Steel & Power Ltd and SRM Contractors Ltd.
