Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 26 February, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 255 points or 0.34% at 72,888 while the Nifty-50 down around 69 points or 0.31% at 22,144. About 1,880 shares have advanced, 1,798 declined and 185 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Asian Paints Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Wipro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.33% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.18%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Energy Ltd and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd and Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd.

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Teck Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 1.10% led by SJVN Ltd and Va Tech Wabag Ltd while the BSE Teck Index was down 1.15% dragged down by Persistent Systems Ltd and Mphasis Ltd
