Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 26 June, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 40 points or 0.07% at 78,009, while the Nifty-50 was down around 21 points or 0.09% at 23,701. About 1,690 shares have advanced; 1,450 declined and 103 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank while the top Sensex losers were HDFC Bank, Tata Steel Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.18% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.28%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd and Piramal Enterprises Ltd. In contrast, Hindustan Foods Ltd and India Cements Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Services Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Services Index gained by 0.40%, up by Lancer Containers Lines Ltd and Vikas Lifecare Ltd while the BSE Metals Index plunged by 1.30%, down by Hindalco Industries Ltd and Vedanta Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: JHS Svendgaard Retail Ventures Ltd, Dee Development Engineers Ltd and GEM Enviro Management Ltd.
