Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 27 December, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 480 points or 0.67% at 71,817 while the Nifty-50 up around 150 points or 0.70% at 21,592. About 2,305 shares have advanced, 1,305 declined, and 154 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, Wipro Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.76% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.52%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were 3M India Ltd and Dalmia Bharat Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Gallantt Ispat Ltd and Syncom Formulations (India) Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Index being the top gainers. The BSE Metals Index gained by 1.25%, up by Steel Authority of India Ltd and Hindalco Industries Ltd and the BSE Commodities Index is up by 1.11% led by Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd and Sharda Cropchem Ltd.
