Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 27 May, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 120 points or 0.17% at 75,534, while the Nifty-50 was up around 45 points or 0.19% at 23,001. About 1,800 shares have advanced; 1,316 declined and 147 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were IndusInd Bank, JSW Steel Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Wipro Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.75% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.45%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In contrast, Astra Microwave Products Ltd and RTN Power Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 1.1%, up by Sobha Ltd and Godrej Properties Ltd while the BSE Auto Index is down by 0.50% dragged by Eicher Motors Ltd and Apollo Tyres Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, IRB Infrastructure Ltd and Thermax Ltd.
