Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 27 October, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 590 points or 0.93% at 63,740 and the Nifty-50 up around 172 points or 0.92% at 19,093. About  2,804 shares have advanced, 627 declined, and 150 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India, NTPC Ltd and Infosys Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Ultratech Cements Ltd, ITC Ltd and Hindustan Unilever.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 2.06% and the BSE Small-cap index up 2%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Canara Bank and Union Bank of India while the top small-cap gainers were Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd and Jyoti Resins & Adhesives Ltd.

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Industrials Ltd Index and BSE Power Index being the top gainers. The BSE Industrials Index gained by 1.88%, up by Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd and Ram Krishana Forgings Ltd and the BSE Power Index is up by 1.90% led by Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Power Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Sonata Software Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
