Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 28 December, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 190 points or 0.26% at 72,250 while the Nifty-50 up around 64 points or 0.30% at 21,720. About 1,751 shares have advanced, 1,730 declined, and 168 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, Titan Company Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Axis Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.25% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.16%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd and Rushil Decor Ltd

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 0.90% led by Coal India Ltd and NMDC Ltd while the BSE Telecommunication Index was down 0.30% dragged down by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd and HFCL Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: K.P. Energy Ltd, KPI Green Energy Ltd and Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd.
