Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 29 February, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 230 points or 0.31% at 72,525 while the Nifty-50 was up around 50 points or 0.22% at 22,000. About 1,435 shares have advanced, 1,657 declined and 116 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Reliance Industries Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, and Titan Company Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Axis Bank, and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.10% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.22%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were REC Ltd and Yes Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Jtekt India Ltd and Ramco Systems Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Healthcare was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 0.85% led by Jindal Steel Ltd and Steel Authority of India Ltd while the BSE Healthcare Index was down 0.90% dragged down by Bajaj Healthcare Ltd and Max Healthcare Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Venus Pipes & Tubes Ltd, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, and Allcargo Logistics Ltd.
