Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 29 July, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 320 points or 0.39% at 81,650, while the Nifty-50 was up around 85 points or 0.34% at 24,920. About 2,421 shares have advanced; 794 declined and 126 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank while the top Sensex losers were ITC Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Titan Company Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.14% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.55%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank and UCO Bank. In contrast, WPIL Ltd and Rites Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 1.40%, up by Oil India Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd while the BSE Telecommunication Index plunged by 0.20%, down by Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Gensol Engineering Ltd and Balu Forge Industries Ltd.
