Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 03 January, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 301 points or 0.42% at 71,595 while the Nifty-50 down around 80 points or 0.37% at 21,587. About 1,713 shares have advanced, 1,479 declined, and 100 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were ITC Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd and Bajaj FinServ Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Wipro Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.30% and the BSE Small-cap index down 0.03%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Delhivery Ltd and IRCTC while the top small-cap gainers were Axiscades Technologies Ltd and New Delhi Television Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 2.06% led by Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Power Ltd while the BSE Metals Index was down 2.1% dragged down by JSW Steel Ltd and Coal India Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Alok Industries Ltd, Gensol Engineering Ltd and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.
