Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 03 June, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 2,100 points or 2.86% at 76,100, while the Nifty-50 was up around 657 points or 2.92% at 23,188. About 2,802 shares have advanced; 842 declined and 163 are unchanged on the BSE.

The BSE Sensex Index made an all-time high at a level of 76,739 today as there are election results tomorrow, all the stocks were in green wherein Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, State Bank of India, NTPC Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd were the top gainers with heavy volumes.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 3.15% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 2.04%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. In contrast, Praveg Ltd and Moschip Technologies Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

All the sectoral indices were trading in the green with the BSE Power Index and the BSE Utilities Index being the top gainers. The BSE Power Index surged by 7%, up by Adani Power Ltd and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index surged by 7.40%, up by NTPC Ltd and Gujarat Industries Power Co Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, REC Ltd and Power Finance Corporation Ltd.
