Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 30 May, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 333 points or 0.46% at 74,157, while the Nifty-50 was down around 116 points or 0.51% at 22,589. About 1,288 shares have advanced; 1,838 declined and 117 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and State Bank of India while the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.54% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.54%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, Suprajit Engineering Ltd and Avantel Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Bankex Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Bankex Index gained by 0.76%, up by Federal Bank and HDFC Bank while the BSE Metals Index is down by 1.80% dragged by NMDC Ltd and APL Apollo Tubes Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Awfis Space Solutions Ltd, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd and KNR Constructions Ltd.
