Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 31 January, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 277 points or 0.38% at 71,420 while the Nifty-50 up around 90 points or 0.42% at 21,612. About 2,341 shares have advanced, 1,182 declined and 152 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and HDFC Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro and Titan Company.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.80% and the BSE Small-cap index up 1.25%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were PB Fintech Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Vakrangee Limited and IFCI Ltd.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 1% led by Shilpa Medicare Ltd and Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd while the BSE Capital Goods Index was down 2.25% dragged down by ABB India Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Nova Agritech Ltd, HMA Agro Ltd and KPI Green Energy Ltd.
