Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 04 April, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 225 points or 0.30% at 73,612, while the Nifty-50 was down around 83 points or 0.40% at 22,343. About 2,110 shares have advanced; 1,463 declined and 139 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank while the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd, IndusInd Bank and Bharti Airtel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.12% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.16%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were AU Small Finance Bank Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd and Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Energy was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index gained by 0.80%, up by Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd and Reliance Power Ltd while the BSE Energy Index is down by 0.80% dragged by Oil India Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: KEC International Ltd, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd and Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd.
