Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 4 December, 2023

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 940 points or 1.4% at 68,420 while the Nifty-50 up around 298 points or 1.47% at 20,565. About 2,518 shares have advanced, 1,132 declined, and 197 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India and Larsen & Toubro Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.04% and the BSE Small-cap index up 1.11%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Tech Developers Ltd and Oil India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Sukhjit Starch & Chemicals Ltd and Sangam India Ltd. 

All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Utilities Index being the top gainers. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 3.66%, up by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index is up by 2.8% led by NLC India Ltd and Adani Green Energy Ltd.  

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending:  Suzlon Energy Ltd, Pritika Auto India Ltd and Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd.
