Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 04 June, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 2,876 points or 3.75% at 73,671, while the Nifty-50 was down around 760 points or 3.27% at 22,505. About 612 shares have advanced; 2,894 declined and 124 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd while the top Sensex losers were State Bank of India, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and NTPC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the red with the BSE Mid-cap index up 4.30% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 3.92%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd and Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. In contrast, Heritage Foods Ltd and Moschip Technologies Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index gained by 0.20%, up by Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Max Healthcare Institute Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index plunged by 7 per cent, down by SJVN Ltd and Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Suzlon Energy Ltd, Adani Enterprises Ltd and The Phoenix Mills Ltd.
