Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 05 June, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex up around 500 points or 0.69% at 72,580, while the Nifty-50 was up around 164 points or 0.75% at 22,048. About 1,486 shares have advanced; 2,006 declined and 142 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Asian Paints Ltd and Nestle India Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and State Bank of India.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.74% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.25%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. In contrast, Heritage Foods Ltd and Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE FMCG Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE FMCG Index gained by 5.5%, up by Heritage Foods Ltd and Jyothy Labs Ltd while the BSE Capital Goods Index plunged by 4.5 per cent, down by Bharat Electronics Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and Emami Ltd.
