Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 06 June, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 500 points or 0.65% at 74,896, while the Nifty-50 was up around 160 points or 0.70% at 22,779. About 2,723 shares have advanced; 494 declined and 99 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, State Bank of India and Larsen & Toubro Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 2.4% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 3%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were UNO Minda Ltd and Power Finance Corporation Ltd. In contrast, Lancer Container Lines Ltd and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 5%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and Sobha Ltd while the BSE FMCG Index plunged by 0.30%, down by Dabur India Ltd and Honasa Consumer Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Mazagon Dock Shipyard Ltd and Heritage Foods Ltd.
