Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 6 October, 2023

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 210 points or 0.32% at 65,828 and the Nifty-50 up around 60 points or 0.30% at 19,605. About 2,034 shares have advanced, 891 declined, and 115 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj FinServ Ltd, ITC Ltd Titan India Ltd and Infosys Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the only gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 0.78% led by Godrej Properties Ltd and Shobha Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index was down 0.25% dragged down by Vodafone Idea Ltd and Avantel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.41% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.44%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were General Insurance Corporation of India Ltd and Castrol India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd and Apollo Micro Systems Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: HBL Power Systems Ltd, Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd and Gensol Engineering Ltd.
