Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 06 February, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 62 points or 0.10% at 72,250 while the Nifty-50 up around 25 points or 0.11% at 21,955. About 2,312 shares have advanced, 1,323 declined and 148 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India, Axis Bank and Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and ICICI Bank and Infosys Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.49% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.72%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank and Canara Bank while the top small-cap gainers were EIH Ltd and HLV Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 2.5% led by Macrotech Developers Ltd and DLF Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index was down 0.70% dragged down by Sonata Software Ltd and KPIT Technologies Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Gensol Engineering Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd and KIOCL Ltd.
