Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 07 March, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex down around 38 points or 0.05% at 73,100, while the Nifty-50 was up around 5 points or 0.02% at 22,475. About 2,238 shares have advanced; 1,322 declined; and 124 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Reliance Industries Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.43% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.78%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Elexi Ltd and India Railway Finance Corporation Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Rallis India Ltd and Force Motors Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectoral indices, soaring 1.08% led by Apl Apollo Tubes Ltd and Steel Authority of India Ltd. The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index was the top losing sector, down 0.25% dragged down by Varun Beverages Ltd and Manorama Industries Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: NLC India Ltd, Jupiter Wagons Ltd and IIFL Finance Ltd.
