Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 09 February, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 48 points or 0.07% at 71,388 while the Nifty-50 down around 40 points or 0.16% at 21,682. About 936 shares have advanced, 2,677 declined and 137 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were ICICI Bank, ITC Ltd and Bajaj Finance whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.68% and the BSE Small-cap index down 1.85%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank and Aarti Industries Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Sandhar Technologies Ltd and Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 0.20% led by Titan Company Ltd and Dixon Technologies Ltd while the BSE Telecommunication Index was down 2.2% dragged down by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd and HFCL Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Apollo Pipes Ltd, Grasim Industries Ltd and Birla Corporation Ltd.
