Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 25 September, 2023

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with the Sensex up around 25 points or 0.06% at 66,034 and the Nifty-50 down around 4 points or 0.02% at 19,671. About 1,841 shares have advanced, 1,124 declined, and 152 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj Finance Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Wipro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 0.33%, led by Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd and Blue Star Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index was down 0.86% dragged down by Axiscades Technologies Ltd and Aurionpro Solutions Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.35% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.10%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd and Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Nelcast Ltd and Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Mufin Green Finance Ltd, KNR Construction Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.
