On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 76 points or 0.12% at 66,783 and the Nifty-50 up around 34 points or 0.17% at 19,812. About 2,007 shares have advanced, 1,171 declined, and 145 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Bajaj FinServ Ltd, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 2.14%, led by Supriya Lifecare Ltd and Cipla Ltd while the BSE Auto Index was down 1.11% dragged by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Balkrishna Industries Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.72% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.51%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Colgate Palmolive India Ltd and Rec Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Vesuvius India Ltd and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd.
