Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 27 September, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 273 points or 0.40% at 65,673 and the Nifty-50 down around 73 points or 0.37% at 19,592. About 1,658 shares have advanced, 1,647 declined, and 185 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd and Reliance Industries Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Tata Steel Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.07% led by Vindhya Telelinks Ltd and Optiemus Infracom Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index was down 0.45% dragged down by HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.40% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.40%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Power Finance Corporation Ltd and REC Ltd while the top small-cap losers were Shreyas Shipping & Logistics Ltd and Pokarna Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Gravita India Ltd, HLE Glascoat Ltd and Hindustan Construction Company Ltd.
