Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 28 July

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 185 points or 0.28% at 66,082 and the Nifty-50 down around 43 points or 0.22% at 19,618. About 1,792 shares have advanced, 1,315 declined, and 175 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Tata Motors Ltd and Tata Consultancy Ltd.

The BSE Utilities Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Financial Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Utilities Index soared 1.60%, led by Torrent Power Ltd and NTPC Ltd while the BSE Financial Services Index was down 1.11% dragged down by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Balkrishna Industries Ltd. 

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.26% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.30%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd and Rec Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Foseco India Ltd and Intellect Design Arena Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Garden Reach Shipbuilders Ltd, Vesuvius India Ltd and Artson Engineering Ltd.
