Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 28 September, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with the Sensex up around 70 points or 0.10% at 66,187 and the Nifty-50 up around 19 points or 0.09% at 19,735. About 2,082 shares have advanced, 1,084 declined, and 174 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Axis Bank, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were ITC Ltd, Asian Paints Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd.

The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index soared 1.29% led by Thermax Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 0.38% dragged down by 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd. 

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.10% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.65%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank and UCO Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Nelcast Ltd and CE Info Systems Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: NBCC (India) Ltd, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd.
