Top Gainers and Losers on BSE Sensex Index:

The top Sensex gainers included NTPC Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, while the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd, and Infosys Ltd.

The BSE Healthcare Index saw the most significant gains among sectorial indices, soaring 1.90%, led by Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. On the other hand, the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector, down 0.98%, with pressure from 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and Axiscades Technologies Ltd.

In the broader markets, the BSE Mid-cap index was up 0.96%, and the BSE Small-cap index was up 0.38%. The top mid-cap gainers included Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and REC Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Omaxe Ltd and Puravankara Ltd.
