Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 3 August 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 190 points or 0.29% at 65,592 and the Nifty-50 down around 47 points or 0.24% at 19,480. About 1,701 shares have advanced, 1,517 declined, and 167 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, NTPC Ltd and ITC Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and Titan Company Ltd.

The BSE Healthcare Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Healthcare Index soared 1.30%, led by FDC Ltd and Shilpa Medicare Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 1.80% dragged down by Godrej Properties Ltd and Sobha Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.09% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.15%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Man Infraconstrcution Ltd and Pratap Snacks Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Dynamic Cables Ltd, Electrosteels Ltd and Poonawala Fincorp Ltd.
