Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 3 October, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 330 points or 0.50% at 65,498 and the Nifty-50 up around 120 points or 0.60% at 19,520. About 1,760 shares have advanced, 1,682 declined, and 199 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Asian Paints Ltd and IndusInd Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the only gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index soared 0.03% led by VIP Industries Ltd and Whirlpool of India Ltd while the BSE Auto Index was down 1.13% dragged down by Eicher Motors Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.06% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.46%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Max Healthcare Institute Ltd and Gillette India Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were GTPL Hathway Ltd and Apollo Micro Systems Ltd.
