Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 30 August, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 336 points or 0.52% at 65,412 and the Nifty-50 up around 93 points or 0.48% at 19,435. About 2,356 shares have advanced, 968 declined, and 167 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel Ltd, Jio Financial Services Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.06%, led by On Mobile Global Ltd and Railtel Corporation of India Ltd, while the BSE Utilities Index was down 0.09% dragged down by Torrent Power Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. 

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.63% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.80%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were TVS Motors Ltd and Laurus Labs Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Kopran Ltd and Uflex Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd, Paisalo Digital Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.
