Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 31 July 2023

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 102 points or 0.15% at 66,262 and the Nifty-50 up around 23 points or 0.12% at 19,670. About 2,104 shares have advanced, 972 declined, and 143 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, NTPC Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd and Asian Paints Ltd.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE FMCG Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index soared 2.12%, led by Adani Power Ltd and Siemens Ltd while the BSE FMCG Index was down 0.35% dragged down by Marico Ltd and Britannia Industries Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.30% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.92%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Ajanta Pharma Ltd and Gland Pharma Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd and Kokuyo Camlin Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Power Mech Projects Ltd, BEML Ltd and BLS International Services Ltd.
