Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 5 September, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in green with the Sensex up around 115 points or 0.17% at 65,750 and the Nifty-50 up around 45 points or 0.23% at 19,574. About 2,243 shares have advanced, 1,138 declined, and 173 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Titan Company Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, NTPC Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Metals Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 1.40%, led by Macrotech Developers Ltd and Shobha Ltd while the BSE Metals Index was down 0.36% dragged down by Steel Authority of India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.89% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.84%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and IDBI Bank while the top small-cap gainers were GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd and MMTC Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Nazara Technologies Ltd, MMTC Ltd and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.
