On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 195 points or 0.30% at 65,915.41 and the Nifty-50 up around 56 points or 0.28% at 19,468. About 2,033 shares have advanced, 1,323 declined, and 188 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Ultratech Cement Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Titan Company Ltd, Bajaj Finance and Nestle India Ltd.

The BSE Telecommunication Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Telecommunication Index soared 1.30%, led by Vindhya Telelinks Ltd and HFCL Ltd while the BSE Consumer Durables Index was down 0.45% dragged down by Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd and Dixon Technologies Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.39% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.46%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Universal Cables Ltd and Ethos Ltd.
