Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 7 September, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with the Sensex up around 30 points or 0.03% at 65,891 and the Nifty-50 up around 5 points or 0.01% at 19,615. About 2,168 shares have advanced, 1,175 declined, and 161 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Ultratech Cements Ltd.

The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index soared 1.40%, led by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index was down 0.15% dragged down by Adani Energy Solutions Ltd and Va Tech Wabag Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.57% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.53%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were PB Fintech Ltd and Yes Bank while the top small-cap gainers were Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Varroc Engineering Ltd.
