The Sensex is showcasing a rise of 0.79%, and the Nifty is experiencing an uptick of 0.73%. This positive momentum extends to the broader market, where the Nifty Midcap has marked a significant 1.16% increase, and the Nifty Smallcap has registered a 0.69% uptick.

Top performers in the market include Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, and Nifty FMCG, while Nifty IT is currently the sole major underperforming sector. Leading the pack among individual stocks are NTPC, ITC, and Axis Bank, whereas Wipro, HDFC Life, and Bajaj Auto rank among the top losers in the Nifty 50.
