The Sensex and Nifty are both on an upward trajectory, marking surges of 0.70% and 0.69%, respectively. In parallel, the Nifty Mid-cap and Nifty Small-cap segments exhibited higher momentum, up by 0.60% and up 0.92%, respectively.

Examining the constituents of the Nifty 50 index, notable gainers include TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys. On the flip side Hindalco Industries, Axis Bank and Coal India stand out as prominent decliners.

Some of the noteworthy volume movers are as follows:

TCI Express Ltd: The company is an express cargo logistics company with its set-up across India. It carries distribution through various modes of transport and is specialized in offering time-definite solutions. The stock’s trading volume surged more than 99 times on BSE and traded at an intraday high of Rs 1,377.1 per share.

The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd: The company is an auto components manufacturer primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing gears and transmission components. The stock has witnessed a significant surge in trading volume, increasing by more than 83.39 times and trading at an intraday high & 52-week high of Rs 497.25 per share on the BSE.

Bharti Airtel Ltd: The company is one of the world’s leading providers of telecommunication services with a presence in 18 countries representing India, Sri Lanka, and 14 countries in Africa. The stock has seen a substantial increase in trading volume, rising by more than 27.8 times and reaching an intraday high of Rs 953.35 per share on the BSE.

KNR Constructions Ltd: The company was incorporated in 1995 and is engaged primarily in the construction of roads, bridges, flyovers, and irrigation projects. The stock has experienced a substantial increase in trading volume, rising by more than 15.77 times and trading at an intraday high & 52-week high of Rs 284.20 per share on the BSE.

CESC Ltd: The company is India’s first fully integrated electrical utility company with private participation in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power in Kolkata, Hooghly, Howrah, North and South 24 Parganas in West Bengal. The stock has witnessed a substantial surge in trading volume, increasing by more than 13.5 times and reaching an intraday high & 52-week high of Rs 98.40 apiece on the BSE.
