The benchmark indices maintained a flat performance, while broader indices displayed mixed sentiment, with the BSE Smallcap index gaining ground and the BSE Midcap index experiencing a significant decline. At 11:30 am, the BSE Sensex edged down by 0.05%, reaching a level of 71,281. The Nifty 50 index fell 0.10% to the 21,397 level. On the Sensex, Nestle India, Reliance Industries, and NTPC Ltd were among the top gainers, whereas Wipro, HCL Technologies and Tata Consultancy Services were among the market draggers.

Apollo Tyres Ltd

The Apollo Tyres Ltd  witnessed a remarkable surge in trading volume, leading its shares to reach a new 52-week high of Rs 485 per share on the BSE. In the past three months, the company’s stock has witnessed a significant upswing, marking an approximate 25% increase. Specializing in the production of automatic bias and radial tyres, as well as tubes, the company offers a diverse product portfolio featuring prominent tyre brands in the T&B, light truck, passenger car, and farm vehicle segments in India. Its market presence extends to serving both original equipment manufacturers and the replacement market.

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd

According to BSE data, the shares underwent an impressive 85-fold surge in trading volume and rose over 3%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 383.20 on the BSE. This Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd ranks among the largest in India’s cement sector and is a notable manufacturer of concrete. Its product range encompasses cement, ready-mix concrete, as well as contemporary building materials such as adhesives, wall putty, dry plaster, cover blocks, and other related products.

Campus Activewear Ltd

The shares faced a downturn, reaching an intraday low of 276.20 on the BSE, reflecting a marginal decline of nearly 0.30%. Notably, the trading volume surged significantly, experiencing a 32-fold increase. The Campus Activewear ltd stands as one of India’s leading brands in sports and athleisure footwear, holding a significant position in both value and volume.
