Domestic indices started today’s trading session on a notably lower note, weighed down by losses in the information technology, FMCG, auto, and real estate sectors. While broader indices initially mirrored this downward trend, they managed to recover somewhat later in the trading session.

At 10:25 am, the BSE Sensex fell 0.23% reaching a level of 73,844. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.11% to the 22,477 level. On the Sensex, JSW Steel, State Bank of India and Tata Steel were among the top gainers, whereas Nestle India, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hindustan Unilever Ltd were among the market draggers.

  • Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd

    Shares of Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd witnessed a dramatic surge in trading volume today, exceeding 50 times the average. Despite this, the stock plummeted over 5%, hitting an intraday low of Rs 296 per share on the BSE. Aptus Value Housing Finance, a home loan company, is dedicated to meeting the housing finance needs of self-employed individuals and low to middle-income families, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas.

  • Bajaj Electricals Ltd

    Shares of Bajaj Electricals Ltd experienced a remarkable 45-fold increase in trading volume today, yet traded modestly lower, reaching an intraday low of Rs 941.70 per share on the BSE. Bajaj Electricals is a prominent FMEG company, with a diverse portfolio spanning consumer products such as appliances, fans, and lighting, as well as exports and EPC segments, including illumination, transmission towers, and power distribution.

  • Wheels India Ltd

    Shares of Wheels India Ltd saw a significant 30-fold increase in trading volume, reflecting strong buying interest and surging over 14% to hit an intraday high of Rs 700 per share on the BSE. The company operates in two main segments including automotive products and industrial products. Its diverse portfolio includes the automotive wheels division, construction & mining division, energy products division, and air suspension & lift axle division.
