The domestic indices pared back earlier gains, despite the significant advances seen in the telecommunications, consumer durables, and IT sectors. However, power, utilities, and oil & gas sectors experienced notable declines, exerting downward pressure on the overall market performance.

At 10:35 am, the BSE Sensex edged up by 0.08%, reaching a level of 73,215. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.02% to the 21,222 level. On the Sensex, Titan, Bajaj Finserv and Wipro were among the top gainers, whereas Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints and NTPC Ltd were among the market draggers.

  • Kolte Patil Developers Ltd

The trading volume of Kolte Patil Developers shares experienced a surge of over a hundredfold, accompanied by modest gains as it reached an intraday high of Rs 506.05 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the real estate sector, specializing in both residential and commercial properties, and holds a significant market presence in Pune, while expanding its footprint in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

  • Tarmat Ltd

Tarmat Ltd saw an impressive elevenfold increase in trading volume, leading to a temporary lock with a 20% upper circuit, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 132.40 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the construction sector, specializing in highways, runways, airfields, parking bays, and taxiways. It has a track record of undertaking projects commissioned by various government agencies, including the Central Government, State Governments, and Municipalities.

  • Welspun Living Ltd

Welspun Living Ltd experienced a remarkable fourfold rise in trading volume, driving a surge of over 6% as its shares reached an intraday high of Rs 168.05 per share on the BSE. Renowned as one of the largest home textile manufacturers globally, the company provides an extensive range of home and technical textile products, along with flooring solutions.
