The Indian benchmark indices witnessed a significant upswing, gaining momentum after initially starting the session flat. A notable rally in energy, oil & gas, power, and metal stocks contributed to an overall increase in market optimism, while the BSE Information Technology index was the sole loser. The broader indices outperformed the main indices by a wide margin.

At 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.40%, reaching a level of 71,386. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.47% to the 21,448 level. On the Sensex, Wipro, NTPC Ltd and Mahindra and Mahindra were among the top gainers, whereas Infosys, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance were among the market draggers.

Arman Financial Services Ltd

Shares of the NBFC witnessed a more than 50-fold surge in trading volume but were trading lower, reaching an intraday low of Rs 2,511.55 per share on the BSE. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company and its subsidiary provide financial services, including two-wheeler finance, group-based microfinance, and micro-enterprise (MSME) loans, to the unorganized sector residing in rural and semi-rural locales.

Anupam Rasayan India Ltd

The Anupam Rasayan India shares underwent a significant surge in trading volume and registered a modest gain, reaching an intraday high at Rs 1,039.70 per share on the BSE. Year to date, the shares have seen an impressive surge of around 45%. The company is actively involved in the manufacturing of specialty chemicals, which are both distributed locally and exported to other countries.

Jupiter Wagons Ltd

The Jupiter Wagons Ltd shares experienced a gain of approximately 0.50%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 328.45 on the BSE, accompanied by a notable 5-fold surge in trading volume. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing business, specializing in metal fabrication that includes load bodies for commercial vehicles, rail freight wagons, and various components.
