The domestic indices started today’s trading session on a downward trend but later gained momentum, primarily driven by notable gains in the capital goods, consumer durables, and IT sectors, resulting in higher trading levels. Conversely, broader indices significantly outperformed the main indices by a considerable margin.

At 10:05 am, the BSE Sensex added 0.11%, reaching a level of 72,867. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.09% to the 22,143 level. On the Sensex, Tata Consultancy Services, Power Grid Corporation of India and ITC Ltd were among the top gainers, whereas Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Axis Bank were among the market draggers.

  • CMS Info Systems Ltd

The trading volume of CMS Info Systems Ltd saw a significant increase, but the stock encountered a decline exceeding 7%, dropping to an intraday low of Rs 370.05 per share on the BSE. CMS Info Systems Ltd, a leading cash management company in India, specializes in installing, maintaining, and managing assets and technology solutions for banks, financial institutions, organized retail, and e-commerce firms on a comprehensive outsourced basis.

  • ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd

With a trading volume soaring to hundreds of times its usual levels, shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd surged around 3%, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 1,701.50 per share on the BSE. ICICI Lombard is a prominent and well-established private sector general insurance company in India, offering a diverse array of products and risk management solutions through various distribution channels.

  • TTK Healthcare Ltd

TTK Healthcare Ltd saw an astounding 80-fold increase in trading volume, with shares trading marginally lower at Rs 1,495 per share at an intraday low on the BSE. The company boasts a diversified portfolio, engaging in pharmaceuticals, consumer products, medical devices, protective devices, and foods.
