Today, domestic indices surged significantly, buoyed by robust gains in the auto, oil & gas, energy, and power sectors. However, BSE Metals and BSE Healthcare were the only sectoral indices that registered losses.

At 10:20 am, the BSE Sensex climbed 0.70% reaching a level of 72,978. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.66% to the 22,150 level. On the Sensex, Reliance Industries, Maruti Suzuki and Axis Bank were among the top gainers, whereas Nestle India and Wipro Ltd were among the market draggers.

Some of the noteworthy volume movers are as follows:

  1. Aster DM Healthcare Ltd

    The trading volume of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd witnessed a significant surge, leading to a more than 7% decline in its shares today, reaching an intraday low of Rs 405 per share on the BSE. The company, renowned as one of the largest integrated private healthcare service providers, maintains a steadfast focus on clinical excellence. It stands out globally for its extensive presence across primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary healthcare services.

  2. Ethos Ltd

    Ethos Ltd experienced a remarkable surge in trading volume, around 98 times higher, yet faced considerable selling pressure, leading to a roughly 4% decline. The shares touched an intraday low of Rs 2,500 per share on the BSE. Renowned as India’s leading luxury and premium watch retailer, the company holds the largest market presence in the country. With a distinguished portfolio comprising more than 60 esteemed luxury watch brands, the company commands a significant market share.

  3. C.E. Info Systems Ltd

    C.E. Info Systems Ltd observed a substantial rise in trading volume, with a 46-fold increase, but encountered a notable decline, reaching an intraday low of Rs 1,706 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in data and technology products and platforms, providing cutting-edge digital maps, geospatial software, and location-based IoT technologies.
