The Indian benchmark indices commenced the session on a cheerful note, rebounding from a significant decline, primarily driven by substantial gains in the power, utilities, and FMCG sectors. Notably, the BSE Realty sector garnered significant investor attention, emerging as the top-performing sector with gains exceeding 5%. The broader indices displayed stronger performance, each experiencing gains of over 1%, outperforming the main indices.

At 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex surged 0.59%, reaching a level of 71,781. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.55% to the 21,635 level. On the Sensex, NTPC Ltd, Bajaj Finance and IndusInd Bank were among the top gainers, whereas HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services and Maruti Suzuki were among the market draggers.

Puravankara Ltd

Experiencing a fivefold increase in trading volume, the Puravankara Ltd shares surged over 13%, reaching a new 52-week high of Rs 215 per share on the BSE. The company is engaged in the development and sale of real estate, with significant projects located in major metro cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Goa.

Sobha Ltd

Undergoing a robust rally, the Sobha ltd shares witnessed a remarkable 35% rise over the past month. Today, the shares saw a fourfold surge in trading volume, climbing more than 19% to reach a 52-week high of Rs 1,335 on the BSE. The company operates as a real estate developer, involved in the construction and management of townships, housing projects, commercial premises, and other associated activities.

Rajoo Engineers Ltd

The Rajoo Engineers Ltdshares faced heightened selling pressure, locking at a 2% lower circuit at Rs 196.15 on the BSE. Continuously, the stock has been locking at lower circuits in the past few trading sessions. The company specializes in manufacturing plastic-extrusion machinery, designing, producing machines, and providing tailored solutions based on customer needs.
