Today, domestic indices experienced downward movement, affected by declines in the energy, capital goods, metals, and telecommunications sectors. However, amidst this downturn, the real estate and healthcare sectors demonstrated notable resilience, standing out in the market despite the overall weakness. The broader indices significantly outpaced the main indices by a considerable margin.

At 10:20 am, the BSE Sensex declined 0.21% reaching a level of 74,062. The Nifty 50 index fell 0.21% to the 22,468 level. On the Sensex, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the top gainers, whereas Larsen & Toubro, Axis Bank and JSW Steel were among the market draggers.

Shares of Camlin Fine Sciences Ltd experienced a 16-fold increase in trading volume, propelling them to surge more than 8% and reach an intraday high of Rs 108.09 per share on the BSE. The company is a prominent integrated manufacturer specializing in traditional antioxidants and emphasizes four core sectors including shelf-life solutions, aroma ingredients, health & wellness, and performance chemicals.

KMC Speciality Hospitals (India) Ltd witnessed an impressive 16 times surge in trading volume, leading its shares to surge approximately 19% in a subdued market environment, nearing a 52-week high of Rs 104.95 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the healthcare sector, managing multi-specialty hospitals, and primarily focuses on providing medical and healthcare services.

  1. Waaree Technologies Ltd

Waaree Technologies Ltd saw a notable spurt in trading volume, continuing its trend of reaching the upper circuit and closing at Rs 1,689.05 per share on the BSE today. The company engages in the trading of e-vehicles, batteries, and artificial intelligence-based products/services. Additionally, it is actively exploring opportunities in sectors related to solar energy and electrical storage systems.
