The domestic indices have started the week with a relatively stable performance, leaning towards gains, primarily driven by positive momentum in the energy, power, utilities, metals, and auto sectors. At 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex added 0.10%, reaching a level of 72,160. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.26% to the 21,910 level. On the Sensex, Tata Motors, Power Grid Corporation of India and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries were among the top gainers, whereas Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bajaj Finserv were among the market draggers.

Some of the noteworthy volume movers are as follows: 

Sir Shadi Lal Enterprises Ltd: Experiencing a remarkable 23-fold increase in trading volume, the shares attracted substantial buying interest and consequently hit the 10% upper circuit, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 273.10 per share on the BSE. The company operates in the sugar manufacturing and distillery sectors.

Satin Creditcare Network Ltd: Recording a significant 19-fold surge in trading volume, the shares climbed around 13%, reaching an intraday high of Rs 278.75 per share on the BSE. The company is a prominent microfinance institution that provides a range of financial products in the non-MFI segment, including loans to MSMEs. Additionally, it has a housing finance subsidiary and offers business correspondent services.

KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd: With a remarkable 14-fold surge in trading volume, the shares reached a new 52-week high of Rs 48.85 on the BSE today. The company is actively involved in the manufacturing of sugar and its related products, including rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol, ethanol, and incidental cogeneration of power.

Tilaknagar Industries Ltd: Despite experiencing a five-fold rise in trading volume, the shares faced substantial selling pressure and witnessed a decline of approximately 7% today. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of liquor, boasting a robust and diverse portfolio of brands across various liquor categories.
