Examining the constituents of the Nifty 50 index, notable gainers include Axis Bank, ITC and HCL Tech. On the flip side, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Finance and UPL stand out as prominent decliners.

The stock’s trading volume surged more than 15-fold, gaining 1.83% to trade at an intraday high of Rs 3,410 per share on the BSE.

Sonata Software Ltd:

Sonata Software ltd is primarily engaged in the business of providing Information Technology (IT) Services and Solutions to its various customers in the United States of America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and India. The stock has seen a substantial increase in trading volume, rising by more than 8 times, gaining 5.66% and reaching an intraday high of Rs 44.18 per share on the BSE.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd

The company is engaged in designing, manufacturing and supplying engineered automotive systems and components. The stock has witnessed a significant surge in trading volume, increasing by more than 6 times and trading at an intraday high of Rs 544.5 per share on the BSE.

Bharat Electronics Ltd

Bharat Electronics Ltd manufactures and supplies electronic equipment and systems to the defence sector. The company also has a limited presence in the civilian market. The stock has experienced a substantial increase in trading volume, rising by more than 5 times and trading at an intraday high of Rs 130.20 per share on the BSE.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd

MDL has evolved into a renowned shipbuilding company. It has constructed 801 vessels since 1960. The stock has witnessed a substantial surge in trading volume, increasing by more than 3 times and surged 1.50 to Rs 1,879 apiece on the BSE.
