Asian Paints reported a year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2024, totalling ₹694.6 crores, compared to ₹1,205.4 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In Q2 FY25, the company also saw a drop in consolidated net sales, which amounted to ₹8,003 crore, down from ₹8,451.9 crore in Q2 FY24.

This revenue figure also fell short of analysts’ expectations, which had forecasted ₹8,581 crore. Additionally, the company’s EBITDA fell 27.8% to ₹1,239.5 crore, down from ₹1,716.2 crore in the same quarter last year.
